Handmade in small batches, this sauerkraut combines carroway seed, fresh red onion and carrots and the infamous habanero pepper during the fermentation to create a subtle sweetness and slight tongue tingle. While spicy, the level of heat of this sauerkraut was intentionally kept low so as not to overwhelm the sauerkraut flavor profile.  For those looking for a truly hot sauerkraut, we offer an extra spicy version made with ghost peppers in addition to the habanero.
